Done deal: Danish club Aalborg BK sign Watford academy product Adedeji on a free transfer
Published: December 07, 2023With a statement on their official website, Danish First Division club Aalborg BK announced on Thursday morning the signing of Watford academy product Jubril Adedeji.
Adedeji will complete his transfer to Aalborg BK in January 2024 when the transfer window reopens for business.
Adedeji's contract at HB Køge expires at the end of the year, therefore, he is joining Aalborg BK on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old registered 36 goal involvements (20 goals and 16 assists) in 116 official matches for HB Køge, where he spent five years after he was released by the Hornets.
He is joining an Aalborg side who are second in the second tier standings with 41 points from eighteen matches.
All things being equal, Adedeji could make his competitive debut for his new employers on February 25, 2024 when they take on SønderjyskE in their first game after the winter break.
He has been described as a physically strong, fast and breakthrough player who covers all positions in the attack, and his preferred position is on the left wing.
