Nigeria U20 international Nnamdi Ofoborh has committed his future to Premier League side Bournemouth after putting pen to paper on a new deal, informs the official website of the Cherries.
The new contract will keep the central midfielder at the Vitality Stadium until at least June 30, 2021.
Ofoborh is inching closer to making his professional debut for Bournemouth as he frequently trains with their first team and was part of the squad that traveled to Spain for pre-season training.
Commenting on the new deal, the 19-year-old stated : ''Coming to the club three years ago this is a real positive for me and I feel great being here.
"I'm really happy, my family is really happy and I just want to keep moving forward from this point on.
"I found out just before an under-21s game, the gaffer called me into his office and wanted to speak to me, I was a little bit nervous to be fair I didn’t know what he wanted to say!
''I thought he wanted to talk about the game or something else I’m not sure! But I was over the moon, he’s a great manager and coach, he helps me with everything I need to work on.''
The Flying Eagles star was an unused substitute when Bournemouth faced MK Dons, Blackburn Rovers and Norwich City in the League Cup this season.
