Through their official website, Arsenal have announced that Scotland international Lisa Evans has signed a new long-term contract extension with Arsenal Women Football Club.
The 26-year-old has been a regular member of the first team since joining from Bayern Munich in June 2017 and has 41 appearances to her name.
This season, she has had a hand in 11 goals (5 goals and 6 assists) despite playing in a defensive position for most part of the campaign.
Commenting on the new deal, Evans said : ''I think the club’s definitely going in the right direction in terms of where we want to be.
''We obviously want to be back in the Champions League and I feel like this club, this group of players, the staff, we can go to so many more different levels.
''That was the biggest thing for why I wanted to stay at this amazing club.''
Evans also wore the jerseys of Glasgow City and Turbine Potsdam before moving to Arsenal.
