Former Flying Eagles invitee Korede Adedoyin is delighted to complete his move to Championship club Sheffield Wednesday following a successful trial, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Owls announced the capture of the talented winger shortly before their Championship opener against Cardiff City at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Adedoyin had been in search of a new club after he ran out of contract with Everton, where he spent ten years.
Adedoyin said in a statement : "Delighted to be a Sheffield Wednesday player, a club with so much history and a tight-knit feel. Such a proud moment for me and my family.
"Thank you everyone for the welcome messages and everyone involved with Sheffield Wednesday. You are amazing. I really appreciate it.
"Also, I would like to thank everyone at Everton for the last 10 years who have been a major part of my career since the age of 9. Good luck for the future."
Adedoyin joins Dominic Iorfa, Osaze Urhoghide, Moses Odubajo and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 19-year-old will be wearing the number 36 for the 2020-2021 season.
