Alex Iwobi has agreed with Theo Walcott that Arsenal are playing with fear at the moment before the north London club's visit to Goodison Park for this evening's clash with Everton in the Premier League.
The Gunners are on a poor run of form and struggling for goals in the Premier League, getting two points from a possible fifteen from their last five games while finding the net twice.
The problem with Arsenal became evident when they suffered their fourth consecutive home loss of the season against Burnley last weekend before being held to a 1-1 draw by Southampton midweek.
Speaking to Sky Sport's Soccer Saturday ahead of today's clash, Iwobi said : "A little bit. They haven't had the greatest run of form but they're able to snap out of it at any moment in time.
"So we're aware of that and hopefully we continue them having a bad run of games. I'm just focusing on our team and hopefully getting a result."
Iwobi ended a fifteen-year association with Arsenal in the summer
of 2019 after 149 games under his belt with 15 goals to his name.
The Hale End Academy graduate has thanked Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery and even current manager Mikel Arteta for the part they played in his career while at Arsenal.
"I wouldn't be where I am today, so I'm forever grateful for the opportunity they gave me.
"I can look to everyone, Arsene Wenger, Unai Emery. Even current manager Mikel Arteta, when I was playing under-21s at the time, he was coming back from an injury and would be playing for us.
"There's been a lot of people that have been able to help me.
"When I was breaking through, Arteta was still there and he was always helping - not just me, but any youngster - he made life easier when I was pushing through," the Everton number 17 added.
Since swapping the English capital London for Liverpool, Iwobi has scored three goals in 43 appearances for the Toffees.
