Ex-Chelsea star Moses backs Spartak Moscow-owned midfielder to be a success at West Ham
Former Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses is backing Czech Republic international midfielder Alex Král to be a hit at West Ham United.
The Hammers confirmed the signing of the Spartak Moscow star on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day with a view to making the move permanent.
Kral, who played together with Moses at Spartak Moscow last season, has yet to make his Premier League debut but helped David Moyes' side register an impressive 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup last month.
On Kral's move to West Ham, Moses said to Spartak's official website : "I wasn’t surprised, Alex is a great player and he went to prove himself at the highest level.
"This was his dream, I wish that he settles well in London and enjoys playing for West Ham. "
Moses highlighted the qualities of the West Ham number 33 and confirmed that he advised the 23-year-old prior to his switch to the London club.
"Yes, because he always talked about the Premier League. Getting there is a normal desire for any ambitious player, and Alex has all the necessary qualities.
"He’s youthful, has high endurance, and the ability to play at a high level for 90 minutes."
Moses is in contention to make his 33rd appearance for Spartak Moscow in Wednesday afternoon's Europa League tie against Kelechi Iheanacho's Leicester City.
