&nbsp;Abdulwaheed Afolabi has absconded from his Ukrainian club Tavriya, informs <b>football.ua</b> citing the official website of the Simferopol based outfit. <br /><br />Oleg Luzhny, the head coach of Tavriya says the 20-year-old Nigerian striker refused to play last weekend's reserve team fixture against FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. Moreover, Afolabi has refused to train with the club since Saturday.<br /><br />''This is the first ever encounter I am witnessing where the player leaves the team without permission. We reported about the incident to the management. Afolabi has a contract with Tavria. Once he breaks it, I think, on the part of the club should follow some penalties,'' said coach Oleg Luzhny.<br /><br />Afolabi, who failed to make Augustine Eguavoen's final roster for the last African Under 23 championship in Morrocco,&nbsp; has reportedly agreed to join Metallurg Donetsk. <br />
