Celtic's Efe Ambrose Ruled Out Of Kenya Match
Glasgow Celtic's utility player Efe Ambrose has picked up two yellow card cautions - against Namibia and Malawi - which has ruled him out of next weekend's crucial World Cup qualifier against Kenya in Calabar.<br /><br />The Nigeria Federation stated in a press release that Ambrose will be logically unavailable for selection against the Harambee Stars.<br /><br />''Scotland-based defender Efe Ambrose will not be part of the contingent (against Kenya) as he is on suspension as a result of accumulated yellow cards from previous World Cup qualifying matches.<br /><br />''Ambrose got a yellow card against Namibia in Calabar in June last year and was also yellow-carded in the game away to Malawi in Blantyre same month,'' the press release from the Nigeria Federation stated.<br /><br />It is widely expected that Coach Stephen Keshi will choose to deploy a central defender to man Ambrose's right full back position.<br />
