Champions League Round Up: Nigerian Players Suffer Defeats

Nigerian Internationals were on the losing side for their respective clubs in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.<br /><br />In an early kick-off match that involved Emmanuel Emenike's Russian club Spartak Moscow and FC Barcelona, The Red and White were walloped by Barcelona 3-0 at their home ground. Emenike played for 64 minutes and the result means Spartak have been mathematically eliminated from the competition.<br /><br />In Italy, Super Eagles midfielder John Obi Mikel and his compatriot Victor Moses, were both in action for the reigning European Champions Chelsea , as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Juventus.
