Fenerbahce, Everton Continue To Haggle For JOSEPH YOBO
There are uncertainties surrounding the future of Nigeria Skipper Joseph Yobo. The defender spent the last two seasons at Turkey's vice-champions Fenerbahce.<br /><br />Negotiations between Fenerbahce and Everton for the outright purchase of the 31-year-old are ongoing. The British club have plans of including Yobo in their squad for pre-season training which starts next month if an agreement is not reached soon.<br /><br />The Sun reports that Fenerbahce are ready to offer 1.5 million euros for Yobo. However both parties are likely to reach a compromise if a bid of 2.5 million euros is tabled.<br /><br />The management of the Yellow Canaries are willing to offer Joseph Yobo a two-year contract, with annual wages of 1.5 million euros, if an agreement for his transfer is reached with Everton.<br /><br />Other alternatives being considered by Fenerbahce for the defense include Pedro Geromel (Cologne), Lucio (Inter Milan) and Lyon's Ghanaian centre-back John Mensah.<br /><br />
