Burkina Faso winger Jonathan Pitroipa has been cleared by tournament's organizers CAF to participate in Sunday's African Cup of Nations final against Nigeria.<br /><br />Recall that the Rennes player was unjustly expelled by Tunisian referee Slim Jdidi in the semi - final tie against the Black Stars for simulation. The controversial referee later admitted that he was wrong in sending off Pitroipa.<br /><br />After using viewing evidence and Jdidi's confession, the Appeals Committee rescinded the red card shown to Jonathan Pitroipa.
