Levante on Friday morning officially presented 27 - year - old Nigerian forward Obafemi Martins as a player of the club. For his new team, the former Inter Milan star will wear the number 24 jersey this season.<br /><br />Martins is eager to make his debut for the Valencia based club as early as this weekend against Real Sociedad .<br /><br />He told the official website: ''I came here because I want to play. I hope to be good about myself. I do not think about the money, or other things because if I had I would have stayed at Rubin Kazan.I'm here to do well, score goals and help the team''<br /><br />And the Nigeria international confirmed during his unveiling that he faced problems with his past Russian club before he joined The Frogs.<br /><br />''Manolo called me from the beginning and told me the interest of the club.
