Spain's second - tier side UD Las Palmas have officially unveiled free agent Macauley Chrisantus, who arrives from Hamburg. <br /><br />Chrisantus, top goalscorer at the 2007 Fifa Under 17 World Cup in South Korea, failed to live up to his wonder-kid tag at Hamburg, and did not play an official game for the Bundesliga outfit.<br /><br />Now, the Nigeria youth international is justifying Las Palmas' faith in him. It took Macauley Chrisantus only eight minutes before registering&nbsp; his first goal for Las Palmas, scoring after 53 minutes in the 3-0 victory over Club Deportivo Marino on Wednesday.<br /><br />The ambitions of Chrisantus for his new club is to score as many goals as possible, but he refused to set a specific target for himself.<br /><br />Macauley Chrisantus, who has been handed the number nine jersey, rejected offers from Russia, Germany, Austria and Romania, disclosing that he preferred a switch to Spain.<br /><br /><br />
