On Wednesday, Football's governing body, Fifa, released the latest ranking.of National Teams for the month of June.<br /><br />The Super Eagles of Nigeria, thanks to the hard fought 1-0 victory over Namibia, climbed three places up to 60th position(11th in Africa). <br /><br />Nigeria's group rivals in the CAF qualifiers to the Brazil 2014 World Cup - Malawi, Kenya and Namibia - are ranked 107th( 27th in Africa), 111st (29th in Africa) and 134th(41st on the continent) respectively. <br /><br />Rwanda, who face Nigeria in an away game in Calabar on June 17th, fell 14 places . The Wasps are now ranked 119th in the world and 35th in Africa.<br /><br />Note that Ivory Coast retained its position as Africa's top side followed by Ghana, Algeria, Libya and Mali. <br /><br />In the Women's ranking released last weekend, the Falcons, with a world ranking of 27th, remain Africa's best team. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
