Official: EMMANUEL EMENIKE Signs New Four-Year Deal With Spartak Moscow
Emmanuel Emenike has extended his stay with Spartak Moscow by penning a new four-year deal which keeps him in the capital until 2016, the official website of the Russian vice-champions reported on Monday.<br /><br />The Nigeria international was Spartak's leading scorer last season with 13 goals in 22 appearances, despite joining the club in July from Fenerbahce.<br /><br />''Spartak is a fantastic club. We have great supporters, we're doing well financially and we are playing with some quality matured players who are ready to win trophies likewise myself. <br /><br />''I am happy to sign the deal and I believe with the new development in the club we are ready to grow better and make history,'' Emenike told tribune.com.ng.<br /><br />Emenike's new contract ends speculations surrounding his future. He had been linked with Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Lazio in the summer transfer market. <br /><br /><br />
