Brondby have announced through a statement via the official website that the club will be parting with the Nigeria international Femi Ajilore on Wednesday, the final match day of the season with Lyngby.<br /><br />Ajilore joined Brondby on loan from FC Groningen last summer. He started his second adventure in Denmark on a good note, but was soon hampered by injuries which froze him out of the first team. <br /><br />The former FC Ebedei starlet has one year left on his Groningen contract. The final year of most contracts is where a club has to pay huge wages to players. In Ajilore's case, he could earn at least 600,000 euros should he remain at the <i>Pride of the North</i>.<br /><br />The financial consequences of keeping Ajilore at Groningen is enormous. The option available to the Dutch club is to sell him outright or ship him on loan again.<br /><br /><br />
