Nigerian midfielder Samson Godwin, who last played for Ukrainian Premier League club Karpaty, is close to a deal with a team in Belarus. The 28-year-old had been searching for a new club following his release by Karpaty.<br /><br />According to the official website, Godwin is in the Belarusian capital holding talks with the management of FC Minsk. <br /><br />If Godwin is successful in negotiations, he would undergo a medical examination and be offered a contract.<br /><br />The one time Gabros United man played more than 200 official games for past club FC Karpaty. <br /><br /><b>Photo Credit: FC Karpaty</b><br />
