Besiktas Remain In Pole Position For Michael Eneramo
Published: July 09, 2013
Istanbul club Besiktas are close to signing Nigeria international Michael Eneramo, 27.
Indeed, the Black Eagles have been runaway favorites to secure the signature of the forward since he announced at the 2012 - 2013 campaign he was not extending his stay with Sivasspor, where he played for the past one and half seasons.
Now, talks between the Besiktas hierarchy and representatives of Michael Eneramo, who is presently holidaying in Kaduna, northern Nigeria, are at an advanced stage.
All things being equal, the Super Eagle will put pen to paper on the contract being offered by Besiktas in the coming days and travel to Germany to link up with his new teammates for pre-season training.
But the deal is not cast in stone as Michael Eneramo was reportedly close to agreeing terms with Rizespor, Bursaspor and Trabzonspor in the last few weeks.
