Adigun Salami Ruled Out For The Rest Of 2013
Published: July 24, 2013
Adigun Salami has been ruled out of action for the rest of 2013, and will miss up to 16 matches in the Danish Superliga.
Since the defensive midfielder switched to SønderjyskE from FCM , injury has limited his appearances in the championship to just two games.
'' Salami in late spring had surgery and rehabilitation is now. Rehabilitation is to last three months, so he's not going to work out before the end of autumn.
'' He's in good hands with health, so I hope he is fit and part of the squad for next year, '' says SønderjyskE's head coach Lars Søndergaard to bold.dk and expresses sympathy with the midfielder:
'' It's not exciting, he has barely played for us. It has been a very unfortunate course and it is a shame for him that he can not be a part of it, for he would be happy to help. ''
25-year-old Salami changed last summer to SønderjyskE on a free transfer and signed two years with the Haderslev club.
