Published: August 16, 2013
Playing is important for Oke Akpoveta. The agent of the Brondby forward must now have a meeting with the club to hear about their plans for his client.
Brondby had courted Nigeria international Anthony Ujah but could not get their hands on the fast forward and signed Oke Akpoveta.
After a successful trial , Oke Akpoveta put pen to paper on a four-year contract, but two years later he has not managed to score in the Danish Super Liga.
Previously, allnigeriasoccer.com had reported that the 21 - year - old might be leaving Brondby in the summer transfer market due to his lack of first team opportunities.
'' It's not that Oke will definitely go away from Brondby. It has been said that it is important that he gets playing time, '' says Atta Aneke to bold.dk.
'' I must have a talk with Brøndby this week and hear what their thoughts are going forward. Then we'll decide from there and see what options are available. ''
Akpoevta is not in the squad to face FC Midtjylland on Friday evening.
