Fanendo Adi Not Bothered By Coaching Change At FC Copenhagen
Published: August 23, 2013
New FC Copenhagen recruit Fanendo Adi practiced for the first time with his teammates on Wednesday morning.
Then Belgian gaffer Ariel Jacobs was saddled with the responsibility of tutoring the players, but he was dismissed on Wednesday night , and the next day Stale Solbakken took charge of training.
Fanendo Ado, who penned a four - year contract last weekend, took the club's decision with a smile.
Speaking to bold.dk, the 22 - year - old attacker said: '' I'm not thinking so much about it, because it's not my table. It is unfortunate that the first coach I trained under was fired, but it was for the team's best.''
Adi continued : '' Now we need to adapt to the new coach and his style, and I like what I saw at first workout.
'' I know nothing of him, but got a good first impression. Now I just hope that he is also the coach on Friday.''
Fanendo Adi is in excellent physical condition, having netted 7 goals in 3 games for past club Trencin this season.
He could make his official debut on Sunday when FCK entertain Vestsjælland in the 6th round of matches in the Danish Superliga.
