African Cup of Nations goleador Emmanuel Emenike has paid tribute to the supporters of Spartak Moscow ahead of the big derby against CSKA Moscow on Sunday, September 22.
Recall that the 26 - year - old attacker departed the Russian Premier League side in the summer transfer market to join Istanbul giants Fenerbahce.
“ These people have simply amazed! They have been with the team anywhere, in any weather, and remained in all situations.
“ Hopefully, they are not upset with me for moving to Turkey. Want to give them a huge hello and thoughts will be with them on Sunday in a match against an implacable opponent. Hopefully see you again!” Emenike told sportbox.ru.
Emmanuel Emenike is credited with 21 goals in 42 Russian Premier League appearances for Spartak Moscow.
