Sammy Sodje Fingered In Match Fixing Scandal

The National Crime Agency is investigating a report by British newspaper The Sun which claimed that Nigeria international Sam Sodje could influence the outcome of matches in return for a fee.
The 34 - year - old defender claimed that he could arrange for a player to be booked in exchange for 30,000 pounds.
In the same vein, Sodje said that he received 70,000 pounds for being sent off in February when Portsmouth lost 1 - 0 to Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
The Super Eagle hit Oldham midfielder Jose Baxter in the groin to get sent off .
