Vincent Enyeama Finally Beaten
Published: December 08, 2013
Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama was finally beaten on Sunday afternoon in the 1 - 0 loss to Bordeaux at the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.
Cameroon international Landry N’Guémo was on target in the 27th minute to end the streak of the Super Eagles skipper, who had gone 11 matches or 1062 minutes without conceding a goal.
And it means former Bordeaux goalkeeper Gaëtan Huard still remains the record holder, having not conceded for 1176 minutes back in the 1992 - 1993 season.
Vincent Enyeama did not lose focus after his net was breached as he made two high class saves and was not downcast after the encounter.
Despite the loss, Lille provisionally occupy the second position in the Ligue 1 standings with 36 points, 1 point ahead of Monaco who have played a game less.
