Super Eagles defender admitted to an undercover reporter from The Sun that he can influence the outcome of World Cup matches as well as English Premier League games.National Crime Agency has launched an investigation regarding the disclosure of the 34 - year - old former Portsmouth center back.
British authorities are now investigating the impact betting syndicates have on English football and have arrested six individuals including Sam Sodje and his brother Stephen.
The Nigeria international had claimed that he could arrange for a player to be booked in exchange for 30,000 pounds and demanded 50,000 pounds for a red card offense.
