Emmanuel Ibok Edet, 24, took the walk of shame when his team Floriana lost at home to Rabat Ajax last weekend.
Thus, the former Nigeria youth international has been handed a one - match ban by the Malta Federation Disciplinary Committee, his second suspension in the 2013 - 2014 campaign.
Emmanuel Edet will not travel with the rest of his teammates for the away game with table toppers Birkirkara on January 5.
