Newly promoted Nigeria National League (NNL) side Supreme FC yesterday unveiled jerseys for 2013/2014 football season with a vow to present a squad capable of clinching a possible Premier league ticket.
The jerseys which are designed to serve both home and away matches are adorned in both yellow, blue, green, white and black colours.
No fewer than three jerseys have already been assigned to each player who are in high spirit to confront Niger Tornadoes away in Minna in one of the league opening games scheduled for this weekend.
Performing the unveiling ceremony at Court 1 hall inside Supreme Court complex, Chief Registrar Barr Sunday Olorundahunsi expressed confidence that the club would do everything necessary to motivate and match words with action in its resolve to go beyond expectation in the current season.
He maintained “we are coming from somewhere and we are truly heading to higher place. We have a target, plan and purpose for this great club and that must be met with focus and determination.
“We believe in the ability of players who are expected to give their best. On our part, we will do all we can to improve their welfare.
“What we are only asking for is fair play in the league whether at home or away.”
Present at the event were Supreme Court Deputy Director library Al-hassan Mayaz, Deputy Director PRS, Chris Unigwe as well as members of the Supreme Sports and Supporter Club among others.
