Solomon Kwambe Competing With South African Defender Ethen Sampson For Vancouver Whitecaps Roster Spot

Nigeria international Solomon Kwambe, 20, is battling to earn a contract with Vancouver Whitecaps.
Since the conclusion of the African Nations Championship, the Sunshine Stars fullback has been in the United States testing with the MLS outfit.
American journalist, Seth Macomber of total- mls.com has provided an update on the situation of Solomon Kwambe.
And from the look of things, the Nigerian will fight it out with South African defender Ethen Sampson for a spot on the team.
“From what I can gather, Solomon Kwambe and African PDL player Ethen Sampson are in a heated competition to earn a roster spot.
“Kwambe has gotten some solid minutes and has looked good going forward,” Macomber told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Solomon Kwambe represented Nigeria at the Fifa Confederations Cup last summer.
A move overseas might tilt the scales in his favor in his bid to be on the plane to Brazil this June.
