Official : Akpo Soje Joins 17th Club, To Spend One Month On Loan At Macclesfield Town

Macclesfield Town have bolstered their ranks with the signing of Anglo - Nigerian attacker Akpo Sodje.
The experienced Tranmere Rovers ace will spend the next one month on loan at the Silkmen.
Speaking on the transfer of Sodje, manager John Askey told the official website : “He’s a big, strong player with a lot of experience, and a real physical presence.
“He’ll be an asset at both ends of the pitch, both as an attacking option and in our box defending set pieces.
“He’s fit and has the same sort of athleticism and desire as his brother (Efe).”
34 - year - old Akpo Sodje had represented 16 different clubs before this latest move to Macclesfield Town.
The former Port Vale marksman made his debut in the narrow 3 - 2 loss to Woking on Saturday.
