Published: March 18, 2014
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Golden Eaglets goalkeeper Dele Alampasu will depart the shores of the country for Belgium on Friday, and this information is subject to confirmation of his flight ticket tomorrow, Wednesday.
The Nigeria youth international has finally received green-light from the Belgium embassy to embark on the 3,070 mile journey to Genk.
Representatives of Dele Alampasu have insisted that the goalkeeper is not attending trials but going to discuss financial terms as well as have a medical.
Nonetheless, the 17 - year - old must prove he is in good physical condition before appending his signature to a preliminary contract.
In the same vein, Flying Eagles defender Wilfred Ndidi has convinced the hierarchy at Racing Genk and has been offered a four - year contract which will start running when he clocks 18 at the end of this year.
It is correct Ndidi is presently in Nigeria as he is awaiting the outcome of his visa application before he returns to Racing Genk.
Both deals were brokered by French - Cameroonian agent Oliver Noah of Noga Sports Management.
