Exclusive: Agent Tips Osinachi Ohale To Be An Instant Hit At Houston Dash
Published: April 18, 2014Claudio Marcone, the Italian agent of Osinachi Ohale, has tipped his client to be an instant hit at Houston Dash despite that fact she never played for a foreign club before pitching tent with the National Women’s Soccer League outfit.
The financial terms and duration of contract the 22 - year - old defensive all-rounder signed were not disclosed though this portal understands that the Nigeria National Teamer will remain with Oscar de la Hoya’s side until the end of the 2015 season.
“The largest Nigeria community in USA is in Houston. Therefore, Osinachi may become a great ambassador of her country in her new club.

“It was no surprise to see Osinachi coping admirably last Saturday in front of an audience of over 8000 people in BBVA Compass Stadium. It was not intimidating her at all. She did a great job!
“She has the experience, even as young as she is. Osinachi is physically strong, not afraid to tackle and has great speed. Playing in one of the bestleagues in the world, Osinachi is going to get stronger and be a bigger value to her National Team for the big events. ”
Regarded as one of the top talents in her homeland, Osinachi Ohale was on the wishlist of several teams in Europe but she cherry - picked Houston Dash.
But there is a gentleman’s agreement in place that will enable the former Delta Queens ace spend few months on loan with one of the clubs that lost out in the race for her signature before the start of the 2015 season.
Claudio Marcone explained further, “ The NWSL 2014 season started on April 12th and will finish end of August. Both parties are intended to stick together also for NWSL 2015.
“Preseason starting in February 2015. Between August 2014 and January 2015 Osinachi may be loaned to some European Top Clubs in Sweden, France, England or Germany who where chasing to get Osinachi’s signature in the past.”
When Ohale made her debut last weekend against Portland Thorns, she was sporting the number 20 jersey.
