Dominic Solanke On Target As England Qualify For Euro Under 17 FinalHighly rated Chelsea youth - teamer Dominic Solanke grabbed his third goal of the UEFA Under 17 Championship currently taking place in Malta as England defeated one of the tournament favorites Portugal 2 - 0 to book their place in the final on Wednesday.

The 16 - year - old opened scoring for the Young Lions in the 51st minute after being set up by RC Lens starlet Taylor Moore, and Patrick Roberts doubled their advantage five minutes before  the final whistle.

Dominic Solanke bagged a brace in the group fixture against Turkey played a week ago that ended 4 - 1 in favour of England.

Two other Anglo - Nigerians were on parade at the National Stadium in the semifinal clash with Portugal, after manager John Peacock introduced Joshua Onomah and Mandela Egbo in the 35th and 72nd minute respectively.

England will square off with Holland for a second time in the competition in the next 48 hours.
