Peter Utaka Breaks Seven - Month Goal DroughtOut - of - favour Super Eagles attacker Peter Utaka broke his seven - month goal drought in the Chinese Super League in the 13th round of matches as Beijing Guoan thrashed Hangzhou 4 - 0 on Wednesday.

The 30 - year - old came off the bench in the 63rd minute, and two minutes later netted his first goal of the season.

His last goal in the Championship came at the end of October, in the 3 - 1 away win over Shandong Luneng.

The former OB Odense marksman has been more effective in the Asian Champions League, finding the back of the net in matches against Central Coast Mariners, Seoul and Chonburi.

Following their victory at the Workers Stadium, Beijing Guoan now sit second on the table, just one point behind Guangzhou Evergrande, who have garnered 31 points.
