Abia Warriors Peter Onyekachi Blames Pitch For Narrow Win

Peter Onyekachi believes Abia Warriors struggled to get a 2 - 1 win against Gombe United because of the bad playing surface.
And the forward has praised the opponents on Sunday for giving their all despite the unfavorable conditions at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
“For sure the water affected our performance on Sunday. The coaches advised us not to play our pattern because of the water on the pitch, so that’s why it was a difficult game.
“The opponents (Gombe United) were good because they gave us a fight despite the bad condition.
“My target is to continue the goal scoring form, I have played 3 matches now and scored 3 goals, and my target on Wednesday game is to score more than a goal, ” the lanky striker told allnigeriasoccer.com.
22 - year - old Peter Onyekachi has registered his name on the score - sheet five times so far this season.
