Croatian Manager : Bosnia Are Seven Miles Ahead Of Nigeria
Published: June 19, 2014
Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team have the same travel plan as their opponents on Saturday, Nigeria.
The Dragons will leave their base at Guaruja on Thursday for the make - or - mar clash with the Super Eagles in Cuiaba.
Ahead of that meeting, manager Safet Susic is sweating on the fitness of Salihovic and captain Emir Spahic, who could not complete Wednesday’s workout as a result of a leg complaint.
Meanwhile Croatian coach Luka Bonacic has blasted coach Stephen Keshi for the lackluster display of the Super Eagles against Iran in their first group match.
“Iran and Nigeria have played so bad that the game would be taken at any one point, and do not enter a point in the standings. Queiroz has confirmed his Iranian players are worse than they are.
“The Nigerian coach was no better. Two coaches are the biggest culprits as the game was boring, I think the worst so far during the tournament, regret the result is best for the country.
“Before the championship I thought that BiH is a step ahead of Nigeria, but their step now has a length of seven miles,”
Luka Bonacic said.
Bosnia have chosen to head straight to El Salvador to keep a date with Iran immediately after their game with Nigeria instead of returning to their base camp.
