Supreme Court Squad Berths In Ijebu Ode

No fewer than 28 players alongside members of Supreme Court FC technical crew arrived Ijebu Ode, Ogun State on Wednesday for a one week tournament organized for various clubs in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Nigeria National League (NNL) and Nigeria Nation-wide League (NNWL).
The Apex Boys as Supreme Court FC are fondly known travelled with 17 of their players together with 11 new signings.
Five other clubs namely two-time African Champions Enyimba Int’l FC, Sharks FC, Bayelsa United, Prime FC of Osogbo including an Amateur team will take part in the soccer fiesta.
Ahead of the championship which is expected to help put players in the right shape before the country’s leagues resumes after World Cup, TechnicalAdviser of Supreme Court FC, Fatai Osho revealed “We are still trying to build the team to the level at which the players can compete comfortably with any other team at whatever time.
“The management of the club has been quite supportive and we are in a hurry to put smile on the faces of our fans. No stone will be left unturned in achieving our aim. That’s why we are adopting several strategies to boost the team’s performance.”
General Manager of the club, Mr Tolulope Oguntimehin however expressed confidence in the ability of his side to step up their performance.
The soccer competition which begins on Friday, July 4 will last till July 13.
