Olympiakos Manager Refuses To Give Up On Michael Olaitan
Published: July 14, 2014
Olympiakos manager Michel is not giving up on Michael Olaitan, who has not played a game for the Greece champions since that unfortunate incident against Panathinaikos, where he collapsed on the pitch during a Super League game four months ago.
According to estimations by gazzetta.gr, the former Flying Eagles maestro could return to the pitch in August, but that date is not cast in stone.
The Spanish coach will wait until the last minute before deciding whether or not to include the young Nigerian on the roster for the upcoming season.
Should club medics give Michael Olaitan the green-light to resume full training, it would be akin to the club signing a new player.
Before his health curtailed his appearances for the Reds, the former Viera ace had notched up 8 goals in 16 Super League games for Olympiakos.
