Published: July 16, 2014
Through its official website, Danish First Division side Brønshøj has announced the hiring of free agent Oke Akpoveta on a one - and - a - half year deal.
The former Warri Wolves ace is no stranger to Scandinavia, specifically Denmark, as he was on the books of one of the traditional teams in the country, Brondby, before he mutually terminated his contract this past winter.
After the 22 - year - old severed ties with Brondby, it did not take long before he signed a short - term deal with Azerbaijani Premier League side Ravan Baku.
He was linked with a transfer to Viborg as well as unnamed teams in Sweden and Turkey earlier this month but the move failed to materialize.
This summer, his number one priority was to remain in Denmark and that has come to fruition.
