Official : Brown Ideye Completes Move To West Brom
Published: July 18, 2014
West Brom have completed the signing of Nigeria international Brown Ideye from Dynamo Kiev on a 3 +1 year contract .
The 25 - year - old had been training individually since returning to practice with the Ukrainian Cup winners, and for transfer market followers, that was a clear handwriting on the wall that he was being protected from getting injured before a potential sale.
The Baggies have admitted that the attacker was purchased for a club record transfer fee, which they have failed to disclosed.
However, it has been reported by several British media outlets that Dynamo Kiev’s bank account will be credited with the sum of 10 million pounds for agreeing to shred the contract binding them with Brown Ideye.
For the upcoming campaign, the Super Eagles forward will suit up with the number nine jersey.
The former Sochaux man scored a total of 42 goals in 103 appearances for Dynamo Kiev.
