Update : Imoh Ezekiel To Cost Al Arabi Eight Million Euros - Het Nieuwsblad
Published: July 29, 2014
According to reporting by the leading newspaper in Belgium, Het Nieuwsblad, one - cap Nigeria international Imoh Ezekiel is on the brink of a switch to Qatari club, Al Arabi.
While that may not be news to majority of Nigerians, the authoritative newspaper has further disclosed that the Qatar Stars League side will have to part with approximately 8 million euros to land the signature of the youngster.
Personal terms have since been thrashed out between Imoh and Al Arabi, with the Super Eagles forward set to trouser 2 million Euros per season as annual wage.
Nothing is cast in stone yet. Werder Bremen, Borussia Mönchengladbach and unnamed teams in France are doing all they can to hijack the deal from the Qatari moneybags.
But if it comes to a bidding war, the European teams do not have the financial clout to compete with Al Arabi.
