Official: Tom Adeyemi Pens Three Year Cardiff Deal
Published: August 07, 2014Welsh team Cardiff City have confirmed the signing of Anglo-Nigeria midfielder Tom Adeyemi from Birmingham City.
The 22-year-old midfielder signed a three year contract today on Thursday in the City of Cardiff after passing a medical.
Adeyemi who demanded for transfer request from Birmingham City has seen his dream come through.
Speaking with the club’s official website Adeyemi said, “From the outside looking in, Cardiff City has a very strong squad that will challenge for a quick return to Premier League this season.
“I took no persuading from manager to come here. It was a fantastic opportunity for me to work with somebody like him and to play for a club like Cardiff City.
“I’m very pleased that everything has been completed ahead of the season and now I can focus on fighting for a place in the side and helping us get the season off to great start.”
Cardiff City would begin their Championship campaign on Friday away to Blackburn Rovers.
