Dolphins Striker Ebube Okpokwu : We Can Break Down Sharks Defense
Published: August 23, 2014
With less than five hours to go before Dolphins trade tackles with
Sharks of Port Harcourt in the Premier League, Ebube Okpokwu is tipping
his side to defeat their city rivals at the Liberation Stadium.
Sharks topped the league at the early stages but they have struggled in recent games, picking just four points from an available 15 in their last five matches.
Okpokwu is aware of that dip in form and has predicted that Dolphins will be the team smiling at the end of the day.
“Local derbies are always difficult but I think we will be the victorious team. Sharks can not be written off , you have to look at their position on the table when the league started.
“Taking about their defense, we have players, not only me, that can break down the defense. We are confident of winning this game, ” Okpokwu told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The attacker arrived Dolphins in the close season from El Kanemi Warriors, and has netted five goals in all competitions including his winner against Prime in the semifinals of the Federations Cup last month for the club.
