3SC Wins Gabros In Table Topper Clash, As Alao Pledges To Pay Outstanding Wages

Thrilled by the brilliant performance posted by the Oluyole Warriors in a table topper clash with Gabros Football Club of Nnewi, Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Umar Farouk Alao yesterday promised to clear all Shooting Stars players outstanding bonuses before the weekend.
The elated commissioner told the players while briefing them after the team defeated the Nnewi side on Wednesday by 2-0 in the week 26 of Nigeria National League game played at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan.
Alao however assured the team of the presence and support of the executive governor of the state Senator Abiola Ajimobi during their last home match to celebrate their return to the elite cadre of the league.
“With your performance today, there is need to motivate you for bringing smiles back to the faces of our teeming fans. And we are going to settle all your allowances before the week runs out so as maintain the momentum,” Alao noted.
Also speaking after the match, former Super Eagles of Nigeria handler, Chief Adegboye Onigbinde urged the team to work harder in order to maintain the top position and bounce back to the premier cadre at the end of the League.
Okiki Afolabi became the hero of the rescheduled match with his brace scored in 20th and 32nd minutes of play which sinks their visitor.
