Olarenwaju Kayode Snubs Overtures From Beitar Jerusalem
Published: November 13, 2014
Maccabi Netanya attacker Olarenwaju Kayode has revealed that he will reject the opportunity to join Beitar Jerusalem, with reports in Israel strongly suggesting that he is one of their top transfer targets in the January transfer window.
His 5 goals in 7 matches this term did not go unnoticed by Beitar Jerusalem chiefs, who will test Maccabi Netanya’s resolve to hold on to their star player if they meet his one million Euros asking price.
“Yes, Beitar Jerusalem want me but I am not interested. Even if they meet my transfer fee, I won’t sign. For now, I’m still a player of Maccabi Netanya, but my preferred destination is Europe, ”Olarenwaju Kayode told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“What can i say? If they want me to leave to a stronger league then I don’t have any choice than to move on. I see a great future.”
Olarenwaju Kayode was courted by teams in Italy (Chievo Verona) , Turkey (Samsunspor) and Germany in the summer transfer market.
