Crocked Robin Udegbe Backs Reserve Goalie To Shine In His Absence KFC Uerdingen number 27 Robin Udegbe has backed the inexperienced reserve goalkeeper Felix Schiffer to do well in his absence, with the German - Nigerian expected to be on the sidelines until the new year.

Udegbe will sit out the next three games in the division after sustaining a shoulder injury against Borussia Mönchengladbach II in the last round of games.

“It happened in the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach on the 15th November. After two minutes their striker hurt me at my shoulder. It was very painful but I kept on, ” says Robin Udegbe to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“I played the whole game and went to the Hospital the same day.
I hope to start the training with the team after the winter break. That is my goal and I hope to realize it.

“Schiffer is a young talented goalkeeper and doing a good job in training. The team will help him. He is good on the line and fast. Now he has the chance to improove himself.

Robin Udegbe has been in between the pipes 16 times this season, conceding 21 goals in the process.
