Agent Threatens To Pull The Plug On Peter Ebimobowei Al Ahly Deal
Published: January 13, 2015
Peter Ebimobowei has claimed that he has completed his transfer to Africa’s most successful club Al Ahly, Egypt.
Reports at home and abroad suggested that the 21 - year - old has appended his signature to a three - year deal with the eight - time African champions.
But allnigeriasoccer.com understands that in reality his move to Egypt is hanging in the balance, as Al Ahly had negotiated his transfer with an unauthorized agent.
“Peter Ebimobowei is contracted player to Fortitude Sports Management Ltd. The deal to Ahly was done by an unlicensed agent.
“This agent had no mandate from Fortitude and Fortitude was not consulted.
“We are taking the matter to Fifa due to the non-response of Ahly and the unlicensed agent,”Jonathan Little, the bonafide agent of Peter Ebimobowei stated.
Last season in the Nigeria top flight, Peter Ebimobowei found the back of the net 18 times for Bayelsa United.
