West Ham Rubbish Reports Of Bid For Azubuike Egwuekwe
Published: January 15, 2015
West Ham have distanced themselves from reports linking the club with a move for Super Eagles defender Azubuike Egwuekwe this month.
News that emanated from the Nigerian press had claimed that the Hammers launched a bid for the Warri Wolves skipper which was rejected.
“Sorry, but we know absolutely nothing about how this originated. we are not involved,” a West Ham insider told claretandhugh.info.
Azubuike Egwuekwe has also been linked with Panathinaikos, Watford and Udinese in the January transfer window.
In reality, he can not play in England because of work permit concerns.
