According to one.co.il, Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe will return to his homeland empty handed without signing a contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Negotiations between the Israeli Premier League club and Warri Wolves have broken down beyond repair.
Recall that shortly after his arrival in Israel, Egwuekwe had claimed that The Reds were not sincere about his transfer to the club.
This transfer window, the 25 - year - old has been linked with Panathinaikos and West Ham, just to mention a few.
The deal that would have taken him to Hapoel Tel Aviv was brokered by Israeli agent Dudu Dahan.
