Official : SV Sandhausen Snap Up Solomon Okoronkwo From Erzgebirge Aue

German club SV Sandhausen have completed the signing of 2008 Beijing Olympics silver medalist Solomon Okoronkwo from rivals FC Erzgebirge Aue.
The transfer was finalized less than 24 hours after the official website of FC Erzgebirge Aue announced that the Nigeria international canceled his contract, which was due to expire at the end of this season.
Solomon Okoronkwo has signed a six - month contract with SV Sandhausen, with the club having the option of extending the deal for an additional season come July 1.
The 27 - year - old impressed the technical crew of SV Sandhausen during trials, especially during the test game against Rubin Kazan.
He previously starred for Saturn, Aalesunds FK, Pécsi MFC, Hertha BSC and Rot-Weiss Essen .
The ex Gabros, Nnewi striker joins former Super Eagles defender Seyi Olajengbesi at Hardtwaldstadion.
