Dele Alampasu Claims Transfer To Estoril Is In The Bag?
Published: February 04, 2015
Nigeria Under 20 international Dele Alampasu claims to have completed his transfer to Portuguese setup GD Estoril Praia before the end of the January transfer window.
And on Tuesday the glovesman took to social media to proudly announce his move to The Canaries.
However, the caveat is that the official website of Estoril has kept lips sealed on the declaration by the Flying Eagles custodian, plus the Portuguese media.
“Thank you God. It is finally a done deal. Estoril Football Club, I am so grateful, ” said Dele Alampasu.
The 18 - year - old had been linked with Real Oviedo, but allnigeriasoccer.com understands that his minders pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute due to the poor remuneration that had been offered by the Spanish side.
After the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup, he tried his luck at Racing Genk but failed to convince the technical crew.
The shot-stopper joins midfielder Anderson Esiti at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, if the move is confirmed by the club.
